Science and common sense had taught us so many things, one
of which is that some things are impossible i.e. some things just cannot be.
Example, A tree being dried up by “words” [Mark 11:13-22], a man walking
on water[Matthew 14:24-29], A 90 year old woman conceiving[Genesis 2:1-9,], the
resurrection of a man who’s been dead and buried for four days[John 11:40-45],
to total healing and restoration of a sense organ (ear) that has been cut off
completely without surgical procedure[Luke 22:50-51], the feeding (and remnant
of 12 basketful) of 5,000 men and with just five loaves and two fishes [Matthew
14:14-20]etc
But the cited bible passages prove that these are not only
possible but also when they did happen.
Ever thought a situation, challenge and circumstance was too
difficult for God to handle? Well, think again. “With God all things are possible” (Matthew
19: 26) there’s only one condition attached to it
-: Faith
What is faith? It is the confident
assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of
things we cannot yet see. Hebrews 11:1(NLT)
This is, believing God is not only able but very willing to
do ALL that we ask of Him. Faith is the foundation of Christianity, the bane of
our existence. It is seeing our expectation and walking in the hope of its
manifestation even before it materializes. It is calling situations bluff and
God, GOD.
Faith is not reasoned, thought out, planned or explained, it
is, believing.
So in the next few days, weeks, months (as long as it takes)
we will be looking at the Faith subject. What it is, what it is not, the works,
the elements and biblical proofs of faith. Your comments, contributions and
testimonies are welcomed. God bless
